TCCC’s Maths block is comprised of seven classrooms and a Maths staffroom. One additional classroom is equipped with 27 networked PCs. All rooms have interactive whiteboards and speakers.
We follow the Collins Framework at KS3 and students take the AQA Modular course at KS4. Extra-curricular clubs increase in attendees year on year, with Easter school for YR11 target students and the UK Maths Challenge being highlights. The top set in YR9 follow the Bowland Maths project. There are Fun Maths workshops for all students and a range of catch up and intervention strategies throughout the year. |
