KS3
In art, craft and design, pupils explore to communicate ideas and meanings. They work with traditional and new media, developing confidence, competence, imagination and creativity. They learn to appreciate and value images and artefacts across times and cultures, and to understand the contexts in which they were made. In art, craft and design, pupils reflect critically on their own and other people’s work, judging quality, value and meaning.


KS4
In Years 10 and 11 students follow courses which lead to exams. These courses are mainly practical and encourage creativity and ejoyment of the subject. Depending on learning styles, students will follow a variety of courses such as: GCSE Art & Design; BTEC Diploma and Certificates in Art & Design.
