The YR7 Aviva Cambridgeshire and Peterborough County Virtual Athletics Finals at St Ivo Leisure Center

After performing well in the regional competition, TCCC were invited to enter a team in the county finals.  Sam Bothamley, Tadas Genulevicius, Aironas Budrys, Lyndon Brown, Cav Connolly and Sam Land from Mr Smith’s teaching group were asked to represent the school.
The boys competed against teams from St Ives , Longsands, Witchford, Stanground and Ken Stimson.
The activities included Shot Putt, Standing Triple Jump, Speed Bounce, Standing Broad Jump, and Vertical Jump as well as a number of individual and team running events.
Team TC had its fair share of success, with Tadas and Aironas tying in second place in the Triple Jump, Lyndon coming second in the Speed Bounce and Sam Land winning the 2 lap race.

The boys were a credit to the college in the way they conducted themselves.
They were thrilled at being chosen to represent the college in such a prestigious event.
We all thoroughly enjoyed what was a fantastically well organised event
