Please follow the procedure below if your child is going to be absent from school for any reason:
Illness
• Telephone the absence line (01945 585237 then press 1) on the first day of any absence and leave a message OR report it online.
• If we do not receive a call from you, our system will send a text message asking why your child is absent, you need to telephone the absence line above in response to the text.
• If your child is still unwell we need a call the next day (this also applies if your child is sent home from school and is still unwell the following day).
• Include a note in the planner on your child's return to school.
Holidays during term time
There is no right or entitlement to take a family holiday, with school children, during term time unless there are exceptional circumstances.

Also below you can find the application form for family holidays in term time, which will need completing and returning to the College Attendance Officer or Academic Mentor.
